Zaida DEL RÍO

Education: He began his artistic studies at the Provincial Art School of Cienfuegos in 1960. In 1971, he entered the National School of Art (ENA), in Havana, until 1974. From 1982 to 1987, he studied at the Higher Institute of Art (ISA). He also graduated from the School of Fine Arts of Paris (L'Ecole des Beaux Arts).

Experience: Teacher of engraving at the Vocational School of Arts of Santa Clara and drawing of the Elementary School of Art October 20. His prolific artistic work has included the illustration of magazines, records and books; as well as mural decorations in Cuba and abroad.

BIOGRAFIA

Estudios: Inicia sus estudios artísticos en la Escuela Provincial de Arte de Cienfuegos en 1960. En 1971, ingresa en la Escuela Nacional de Arte (ENA), en La Habana, hasta 1974. De 1982 a 1987, realiza sus estudios en el Instituto Superior de Arte (ISA). Se gradúa también en la Escuela de Bellas Artes de París (L’Ecole des Beaux Arts).

Experiencia: Profesora de grabado en la Escuela Vocacional de Artes de Santa Clara y de dibujo de la Escuela Elemental de Arte 20 de Octubre. Su prolífica labor artística ha incluido la ilustración de revistas, discos y libros; así como decoraciones murales en Cuba y en el exterior.
