Juan Sebastián BARBERÁ

Born: 1964, Mexico City.

Education: He studied art at the National School of Plastic Arts of the UNAM (Mexico) and industrial design at the UAM (Mexico). Barbera's artwork has appeared in more than twenty-seven shows in Mexico, the United States, Spain, France and India.

Experience: Member of the General Assembly of Associates of the School of Madrid and honorary member of the government and administrative organ of the School of Madrid. 1998 - 2004.

It has been edited by the Catalan workshop Poligrafa of Barcelona (a Catalan polygraph workshop) with the collection "The spells". It has also been edited several times by Emilio Payan's workshop in Mexico and also published in the Ditoria workshop with the book "Almost an Object" in Mexico.

Awards: "Toy art object" contest (Art Object Toy) in Mexico. Designer of the corporate image of Lumen and Hiperlumen (an office supply store) that won the Quorum prize. Designer of the new editorial image for textbooks of the Conalep (National Vocational School). Desinger of his own artistic agenda, in which part of the work created every year is published.

Individual exhibitions, more than 30 in different countries: Mexico, Spain, India and France.

Mural creator: for the new Gandhi Bookshop (bookshop) "Visions of the Transformation of Man", Lucent Technologies "Technological Communication", 11 Caffetino "il piacere del sensi", Bolívar 12, "Night Dance" and Sport City "Infinito Sport "", Creator of the monumental sculpture for the Conalep "The New Man", the passage of Altavista "Mural Mundo Onírico", Central Restaurant "Suculencias de vidrieras", painting presentation in the Central Restaurant "Sian-Ka'an".
